Chinese Han Dynasty ca. 206 BCE - 220 AD. Pottery model of a horse with a musician rider playing the flute; the red horse standing four-square on base. Size: 13 1/8" H. Provenance: I M Chait Gallery, 2014 acquired by Dr. Henry Cherrick, a professor and dean at UCLA School of dentistry who pioneered government programs promoting dental care in HIV/AIDs patients. He was an avid collector of fine art and antiquities and died at the age of 84 in 2023. Original documents included.
