An unusual stoneware footed vase having a saddled rim over a cascading shouldered form all dine in a mottled green ground. The front is decorated with a typical silver overlay showing an allegorical female figure with an outstretched arm supporting a bird. The central figure is surrounded by naturalistic branches with similar branches to the reverse. Makers mark & 21 underside also done in silver overlay. 1st quarter 20th century. Size: 9"x7"
