VICTORIAN 1870 THRU 1900s LADIES BONNET HATS, LOT OF 4

Four ladies Victorian bonnet hats dating from 1870 thru 1900s. These 4 bonnets are trimmed with cloth flowers or bird feathers or velvet ribbon arrangements, satin ribbon and velvet chin streamer ties. These hats were worn on top of the head and would have been held in place with hat pins and chin ties. These early hats are in very good sturdy condition for their age, with minor age related conditions. Millinery flowers in very good condition. All hats in original condition no alterations. No designer labels. A great addition to one's hat collection and in wearable condition.

FROM LEFT TO RIGHT ON HAT STANDS

LEFT BONNET ON HAT STAND
A decorated straw ladies 1880s bonnet with no inner lining, trimmed on top with intricate woven straw, white and tan long chin streamer ties, brown velvet bow at back and satin ribbon folding into pleats arrangements with cherry attached.

CONDITION
The hat is in overall very good structural condition. No repairs, no holes, no fading of material, no fading, no stain damage. No damage to straw or ribbon. Good Wearable condition.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
Inside opening approx. 7" x 5-3/4"
Front to back 9-1/2", side to side 8-1/2".
brim approx. 1-1/4".

MIDDLE LEFT BONNET ON HAT STAND
A 1900s woven Panama straw ladies bonnet decorated adorned with a brown grosgrain band ribbon. No lining. This hat was worn at the back of the head of the head and would have been held in place with hat pins. No label.

CONDITION
The hat is in very good structural condition. No holes, no repairs, no stains. Good wearable condition.

APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS
Interior inside opening approx. 6"
Side to side approx. 12"
Height of crown approx. 3".

MIDDLE RIGHT BONNET ON HAT STAND
A 1870s brown rust velvet ladies bonnet with decorative folding of velvet and brown faille over wire for shape and form. Decorated with a fancy faille ribbon arrangement and round white glass berry trim balls on left side of bonnet trim. A lovely feathered arrangement of a small brown bird with eyes and a beak and plumes.
With long velvet streamer chin ties. Adorned at back with a wooden carved bronze fly swatter with raised fly trim attached. This hat was worn at the back of the head of the head and would have been held in place with hat pins.

CONDITION
The hat is in good structural condition. No holes, no repairs, no stains. Inner silk lining is missing. Good wearable condition.

Height of crown approx. 4".

RIGHT BONNET ON HAT STAND
A lovely ladies 1880s woven straw bonnet wired for shape and trimmed with intertwined 3 colored velvet arrangement. Woven with straw in intricate designs circling around the back of hat.

CONDITION
The hat is in overall very good structural condition. No repairs, no holes, no fading of material, no fading, no stain damage. No damage to straw. Lining has shredded. Good Wearable condition.
