Description
Rarely seen Mid-Century Modern sculpted rocking chair designed by Lawrence Peabody Architect, Designer of Interiors & furniture. His study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen catalyzed the Scandinavian influence in many of his designs. Originally cataloged "Rocker 952", part of the "Peabody Collection" for Richardson Nemschoff. Solid elm wood, cane panel back rest, (2) upholstered cushions. Dimensions: H 30" x W 25" x D 32" x SH 18" Condition: Minor surface wear, scuffs and marks consistent with age and use. A couple small tears to leather straps.

All the items in this auction remain at our Gallery in Norwalk, CT for pickup or shipping. Items must be picked up in the time frame of Friday, April 28th - Friday, May 5th, WEEKDAYS ONLY, 9-5.
