A beautiful Danish mid-century lounge chair taking a modern twist on a traditional wingback bergere form. Designed by Alfred Christensen for Slagelse, c. 1940's, this chair marks an iconic transitional period into the early stages of Scandinavian modern design. Well-crafted stained oak armrests and legs with a warm reddish hue complement light salmon or dusty rose button-tufted suede-like upholstery. Dimensions: H 41" x W 31" x D 30" x SH 16" Condition: Wear consistent with age and use. Great candidate for reupholstery; some light soiling and pulls to fabric. Few rubs and marks to oak. T032
