Description
A MID-19TH CENTURY CARVED CORAL BROOCH AND EARRINGS SET
the brooch designed as flower heads, buds and leaves to a bough; the earrings as casades of leaves and buds terminating in flowerheads, with hook fittings. Indistinct continental marks, brooch 4.5cm by 3.5, earrings 5cm long, 14.0 grams gross, contained in a fitted case. (2)
There is one leaf deficient to the surmount of one earring, one bud to the brooch with glue repair (only visible from the back). They are indistinctly marked with continental marks (unidentified) and in our opinion would test as gold.
