3 mimeograph newsletters of various lengths - 10 pp, 6 pp., and 10 (of 12?). The last sheet is detached, and pp. 9-10 are lacking) pp. Illustrated in various colors. Sheets are printed on both sides in various colors on various colors of paper. Stapled at the top right corner. 28x21.5 cm (11x8½”).

Rare newsletters from the Hi Valley Press, an underground/counterculture press out of San Luis Obispo. With some full page psychedelic illustrations in various colors. The newsletters contain essays typical of the scene, poetry, and information on various local events, including the great ”Gathering of Pumpkin Love.” No information on the press could be found online, nor any other examples of the newsletters. The newsletters are not dated but likely circa 1967-69.

Condition

Some light wear, toning to edges; one sheet detached; very good.
