Chinese Qing Dynasty Silk Embroidery of Auspicious Pairs of Birds around Pine Tree and Flowers, a Peacock to lower left corner and an embroidered inscription to upper right corner; mounted in a floral Shell Inlay, panel back frame with tilting Wood Screen and Dragon crest with shell Shou Medallion to top, the base with claw & ball feet. Height of embroidery 20 1/2 inches (52 cm.). Total height of Wood Screen 35 inches (89 cm.).
Condition
Age related wear to wood with 1 small crack to side support at base, the silk with light wear and some staining.
