(Japan, 1930s) A rare large size Mickey Mouse celluloid wind-up toy. The hand-painted toy features a metallic tail and a built-in key. It was manufactured in Japan in the early 1930s. When wound, Mickey's feet move quickly and he "rambles" across the floor. Measuring 7.75" tall Mickey displays in fine condition, with slight wear to painted areas and the string attached to the arms a little loose. This is an exceptional example of a very rare toy.
