Bernard X. Wolff (American, 20th Century) for Steuben Glass: Balloon Rally, 1985. Triangular prism cut with six intaglio hemispherical recesses with copper wheel engraved ballooning lines and baskets, over tapered shaped base with frosted thumb cuts along the base and corners, creating a reflected view of a Cathedral and cloister, complete with soaring spire topped by a cross, with endless hot air balloons floating in the sky above. Sculpted by Bernard X. Wolff. This copper wheel engraving is one of twenty various designs produced by Steuben. The original velvet lined box is included.
