Titled "H is for My Heart," depicts a half white and half red letter "H" depicting figural animal and human heads with the words "The wheel does not break; 'tis the band round my heart that, to lessen its ache, when I grieved for your sake, I bound round my heart." Kent was a sister and teacher at the Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles until 1968 when she left the Order and moved to Boston. Her works feature social justice issues, often combining imagery with biblical text.
