GEORGE II BURLWOOD DIMINUTIVE DESK AND BOOKCASE, two-piece construction, upper case with applied cornice over hinged six-pane door with applied moldings concealing three adjustable shelves, lower section with hinged slant-front concealing a fitted interior, over two short of two full-length drawers, raised on bracket feet, solid ends, two keys present. Later brasses. Oak secondary wood. Retains an old surface with warm color. Mid 18th century. 82" H, 28" W top, 16 1/2" D.
