WEDGWOOD BLACK BASALT DRY-BODIED STONEWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF 16, including a 5 5/8" D engine-turned bowl, two heart-shaped covered boxes and an ovoid matchbox, two mustards with metal covers, a mug with relief horse head motif, and low-form centerpiece bowl with grapevine relief decoration. Impressed marks to underside include "WEDGWOOD", "ENGLAND", and "MADE IN / ENGLAND". Together with two Jasperware articles including a green ovoid-form covered box and a blue ovoid-form pen tray housed in original box. Eighteen (18) pieces total. Wedgwood, Etruria, England. 19th to 20th century. 4 1/2" HOA.
Condition
Sixteen undamaged; one creamer having broken and bolted handle; sugar bowl having cover with moderate chip/loss to flange.
