Description
SWAN FIGURAL MINIATURE LAMP, opaque white, head with light opalescence, font with oval base having a double row of beads to table ring, matching patterned umbrella-form shade embossed with three swans between cattails, period collar. Fitted with a Plume & Atwood Nutmeg burner with thumbwheel marked with patent date, colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th century. 7 1/2" H to top of shade, 3 3/4" H to top of collar, 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" base.

Condition
Very good overall condition, font undamaged and lacking the usual found annealing lines, underside with a significant underfill to the medial, edge of shade fitter with a short approximate 3/4" vertical hairline extending into the body. Burner with some corrosion, chimney undamaged, one shade holder prong detached and repairs to juncture of another.
