Description
CHINESE EMBROIDERED SILK PANELS, LOT OF TWO, silk and gilt-thread on silk, comprising one having a floral and medallion design with butterflies and a peacock-type feather border, and the other having an all-over floral pattern. Medallion example housed under glass in a carved wood frame featuring gourds, the other housed under UV glass in a modern frame. 19th/early 20th century. Larger frame 3 1/2" x 18 3/4" sight, 10 1/4" x 25 1/4" OA.Â

Condition
Good to very good visual condition; medallion example with overall toning, some losses to embroidered thread; other example with some gilt-thread detached from ground, frames with minor wear. Not examined out of frames.Â
