CAST-BRASS PAIR OF ARGAND MANTLE LAMPS, later frosted and engraved glass shades, double-armed examples with lower air intakes, and fitted shade rings, Classical square base and standard, brass font vase, lacking a font tank and only having the cover with overlay decorative ring, fitted with prisms. Electrified. Third quarter 19th century. 18 1/4" HOA, 17 1/2" WOA.

Condition

Shades undamaged except one having a minute flake to the fitter and some light roughness to the top rim; lamp having significant imperfections, sold as is. Prisms with imperfections and some losses.
