Yuri Annenkov is a Russian artist, known for Book illustration, portrait painting, and costume design. Yury Pavlovich Annenkov, also known as Georges Annenkov, was born in 1889 in Petropavlovsk, Russian Empire. He was a Russian artist mostly known for his book illustrations and portraits. He also worked as a theatre and cinema designer. He captured portraits of Akhmatova, Blok, Meyerhold and Trotsky, Lunacharsky, and Stalin and went from a Russian artist of the Silver Age to a titled French designer. One of a kind of artwork.
