Aldo Bishop was born in Hollywood, California and adopted as a baby into a family from Salt Lake City, Utah. As far back as he can remember he was an artist and wanted to go to Art School in New York City. When he was in high school his biological mother found him. She lived in New York City and owned an ad agency. She brought him to NYC where he attended the School of Visual Arts. He lived in NYC for 6 years and then moved to Hollywood, California where he worked on movies as a scenic artist. Bishop has done numerous movies, music videos, and commercials and was heavily involved in the art world. He has had many Gallery shows in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Europe. He was on the cover of Art in America and in 2016,I was voted most inspirational artist by the Huffington Post. Bishop has lived in New York City, Los Angeles, and Chicago and traveled extensively throughout Europe and presently lives in Salt Lake City. His biggest influence as an artist is Picasso and children's art. There is nothing purer than an unjaded child and the naive works that come from their minds. His favorite quote by Picasso is, "it took me a lifetime to learn how to paint like a child."
