Two very fine 18th century porcelain teapots. 1) English creamware teapot with hand painted flowers on the sides and lid, the terminals of the tooled entwined handle with applied hand painted flowers, 3rd quarter 18th century - condition: Tight irregular hairline extending from rim, glazing flakes on edge of lid, a small 1/4" hairline on the interior surface of rim, a small chip on the interior edge of rim, and a possible repair to end of spout (see photos for details) - measures 8 3/4"W x 5 1/2"H to top of lid; and a Chinese export teapot with berry shaped finial with entwined handle terminating in floral sprigs - the sides and lid also decorated with floral springs - late 18th century - chip to underside edge of lid, tight hairline around edge of spout where it meets the body, else good condition - measures 10"W x 6 1/2"H.
