A Fine George III Inlaid Mahogany Oval Pembroke Table, Circa 1780
Having a moulded edge with a cross-banded border to the hinged top, the conforming string inlaid frieze containing one drawer with a veneered and crossbanded front, and with corresponding sham drawer in the reverse, supported upon string-inlaid square tapering legs, rising to inlaid crossbanded panels beneath inlaid fluting, and ending in spade feet with brass casters.
Purchased May 1989, Alfred Bullard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Provenance: The Ken and Elizabeth Teasdale Family, St. Louis, MO
28 1/2 x 31 x 39 inches extended.
