DESCRIPTION: Matching porcelain sculptures-one depicting a Chinese emperor, one his empress companion. Each figure is seated on a throne and wears traditional imperial garb: the emperor his beads and dragon robe, the empress her fenghuang design robe. Each figure's clothing is decorated with polychrome patterns and motifs including waves, flowers and clouds and is finished with gilt accents.
