After Guillaume Coustou, Beaux Arts Pair of Bronze Marly Horses. After Guillaume Coustou the Elder (1677-1746). Pair of bronze statues en facent, of rearing horses, each with a classical male attendant clad with drapery to hips and holding the reins in his hands, all over low mounded, shaped oval bases. France. Circa 1900. {Approximate dimensions: 23 1/2 inches high x 21 inches wide x 9 inches deep.}. Condition: One horse with rear hooves that are loose. Same horse with some scratches to horse chest. Minor dust and wear throughout.
