A John Baliel (1871- 1940) Early large scale bench made pleasure craft built in 1906, partly executed in bent oak, with a painted hull, set on a presentation stand, Mr. Baliel built boats and barges with his brother Joe at the turn of the century in Freeport, CA in addition to being an excellent carpenter, his models were also exhibited Provenance: Purchased in Old Town Sacramento, and a part of Northern California maritime history for over a century, model 9"h x 62"w x 11"d
