A late 19th century Meissen figural group of gardeners, possibly outside decorated
the figures in 18th century costume, on naturalistic rock work base, surmounted by a figure of a gentleman holding a floral posy, flanked by a rustic maiden supporting a basket of flowers on her head and with further blossom in her apron, a young girl holding a spade and a young boy holding a watering can to the front, a young man holding a further spade and a seated girl holding a flower pot to the rear, on naturalistic circular base with interlaced oval and floriate gilt moulded border,

The group is restored and almost fully covered in overpaint and spray. It is impossible to determine the extent of the damage underneath, but it is clear it must have been in various pieces. There are scattered areas of chipping, discolouration and wear.
