Description
Omega 'Ed White' Speedmaster Chronograph Wristwatch with blue bezel, Ref. 105.003-64 with 17 jewel manual wind Caliber 321 movement and ref. 7912. Flat link bracelet was favorite wristwatch of the American astronauts on the Gemini missions and is known as the 'Ed White' model after the first astronaut to walk in space. The Speedmaster Ref. 105.003-64 was the watch that was placed under extensive testing by NASA in late 1964 and eventually approved on March 1, 1965. After the model was officially approved to NASA space missions, Omega added the 'Professional' designation on the Speedmaster. It is the last Speedmaster with straight lugs.
