For your consideration is this large, original Skookum eyes right, trade blanket-wrapped Native American doll circa 1930-40s. The doll shows original construction, with the framework for the doll constructed by wood with straw stuffing and a ceramic face. The doll shows long black braided hair. The Native American woman is holding a child on her left side that is also wrapped in a blanket. She is wearing a yellow shirt, brown and pink pants and a trade blanket with colors of brown, orange and tan. The Native American woman's clothes show cloth construction and the blanket is made of wool. The condition of this doll is good, with no signs of damage or wear. The doll measures 3" L x 4 1/2" W x 13 5/8" H.
