A Continental Neoclassical style gilt metal mounted blue opaline glass scent bottle, circa 1900, the hinged stopper and sides each centered by a shell cameo of Shakespeare and Classical figures, raised on an onyx and gilt metal stand.

Wear, toning and darkening to gilt metal mounts especially at high points. Minor bending throughout. There is a small chip loss to the corner of the glass scent bottle that is obscured when placed on base. Dust and dirt in crevices. There is a piece of wire decoration to the base that is loose.
