Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation. Beverly Hill, California. Pair of staffs in carved wood fabrication, made by the Senufo tribe. Region of origin: Côted'Ivoire, Africa. Each staff has a carved face at the top, and each staff has a distressed cloth gown covering. The larger staff measures twenty-nine and one-half inches tall by four inches wide by two and onehalf inches deep, andthe smaller staff measures twenty-six and one-halfinches tall by three inches wide by two and one-half inches deep.
