A great looking early microphone manufactured by the Turner Company of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The Turner family was a family of undertakers who got into the sound equipment business as a result of developing sound systems for their mortuaries, eventually becoming one of the largest audio manufacturers in the country. This type G crystal microphone is a very rare model. It is in good overall cosmetic condition although it is missing one suspension spring. The cord is very frayed.
