This is very rare and beautiful open vegetable serving bowl.
It is made by WEDGWOOD in Florentine Gold pattern.
There are few patterns that live up to the richness of Florentine Gold; first introduced in 1931 on a fine bone china body and characterized by an ornate border intricately detailed with a cacophony of mystical creature and fantastical flora.
The collection features a wealth of delicately hand-rendered motifs set against the clarity of white, fine bone china.
A truly glorious collection with a heritage stretching back seven decades.
The bowl is hallmarked on the bottom with Wedgwood black and gold stamp.
It is 10" by 7 1/2" at the rim and it is 1 3/4"" deep
It is beautiful. It will make a wonderful gift or will be a great addition to any vintage china collection.
The bowl is in very good vintage condition with no cracks or crazing.
Could have some minimal utensils marks and some minimal, if any, damage to the gold.
