A late 19th century gold ruby and split pearl cross motif locket. Length 6.2cms. 14gms.
Condition
  • General discolouration, light scratches and dents. Some wear to the gilt finish.
  • Approximate dimensions of principal ruby 3.8 by 2.7mms, unable to ascertain depth due to setting.
  • Rubies are a deep purplish red hue, well saturated with good clarity.

  • Rubies with minor abrasions.
  • Split pearls with cream body colour and slightly golden overtone.
  • Split pearls with minor abrasions to nacre.
