Two Minton Majolica Turquoise-Ground Fruit and Vegetable Festoon Tiles
Recorded as shape no. 1125R, circa 1865
Forming a continuous panel, molded in low relief with a ribbon-tied pendant festoon of fruit, corn, and narcissus, impressed uppercase mark. 8 inches square, excluding the wooden frame.
For a pair of pedestals, recorded as shape no. 2227 and molded with the same inset relief panels, see Mayfair Gallery, London, no. 013084.
