Description
An antique uncolored copper plate engraving, Description of Egypt, Esne Latopolis, Side Face of The Inside of the Portico, Antiques, Volume I, Plate 74, by Jean Baptiste Prosper Jollois and Edouard Devilliers and Monsaldy, sculpture, from the so called Imperial edition of the Description de lEgypte or Compendium of observations and research made in Egypt during the French expedition, published by the orders of His Majesty the Emperor Napoleon the Great. Produced between February 1802 and 1829 on the orders of Napoleon Bonaparte and published from 1809, actually 1810. It was printed in 1000 copies on Verge watermarked, Ancient and Modern Egypt, and offered to institutions. Titled in the plate lower to the center. Marked in the plate lower right and left. Inscribed in the plate upper right and left. Publishers blindstamp at top right. Framed. Antique Graphic Art Prints and Collectibles.
