Vintage MARX Tin Wind Up Toy Balky Mule With Cart & Driver Works Original Box
Vintage late 40's early 50's Louis Marx " BALKY MULE " Tin Windup Toy Cart and Driver with his Balky Mule.
This cute children's toy after winding operates by the mule first going forward and balking and going backwards and sideways. windup and action work very well. I believe the complete cart, driver and mule are all in original condition. You can sense the grumpiness of the Donkey as he is hitched to the Rickety cart and forced to pull the farmer around. Condition:
Toy is in excellent condition, with no scratches, dents or repairs. Colors are vibrant and wind-up mechanism works smoothly. Spring winds up and tested to work. Has original rope and metal wheels and metal wheels. White marks on toy is camera flash or from lighting.
Its box is rough and one end is ripped off and is inside the box and not missing. Pictures on Box are very good.

Measuring 8-1/2" in length, 5-1/2" in height and 3" wide, as shown in our photos.
