Antique Tin Colander Metal Strainer Primitive Farmhouse Kitchen Decor Pedestal Double Handle Wall Hanging

This double handle large circular pedestal colander strainer measures 15-3/4 inches handle to handle. It is 13-1/2 inches in diameter at the top not including handles.
The angled pedestal base is 7-1/2 inches in diameter standing 6-1/2 inches tall. Weighs 2.2 pounds.
Manufacture company is Kreamer and its name is embossed under handle.

The colander sits evenly.
Wonderful natural tin patina that develops with time.
Acquired at a Western New York estate auction in an old country farmhouse.
There is no damage. The rather dull patina can be easily shined, if desired. It is in good condition with some rust spots on the bottom. It is in as found condition and has not been cleaned or polished to retain its primitive appearance.

Perfect for holding fruits and vegetables, displaying shells at the beach, hanging on the wall or using as a centerpiece. I fill it with cranberries and christmas bulbs at Christmas as part of a display.

Today it would serve well as a primitive or antique decorating item in a country kitchen or farming related display.

Irregularities in the surface belong to this country item and are consciously wanted and represent no lack of quality. A little rust but no dings or dents. I would not use it for food. Strictly decorative.
