Enjoy our six pounds of raw Western New York honey harvested in the October 2022. You are purchasing ONE 1/2 gallon glass jar of raw.
If you have never tried raw honey straight from the beekeeper, you do not know what you are missing, you will not be disappointed with this honey.
Raw honey produced and harvested from bees that live and thrive in and on our own small farm. From our hives to your home to enjoy. Our honey was extracted October 2022.
Our honey has not been pasteurized and is unprocessed Upstate New York honey. Our apiary is nestled in a lovely deep valley, with the foothills of the Allegany Mountains surrounding us in Cattaraugus County. Our wildflower honey comes straight from our apiary and surrounding hills. This honey is made from our 20 acre farm, planted with 3-1/2 acres of planted white clover, alfalfa, birds foot ( a pollinator mix). In the fall harvest local aster, wildflowers and goldenrod gives it a rich aroma, mild fruity flavor and a light golden color. These jars have apple blossoms, clover, and a variety of local wildflowers.
Our 20 acre farm has very little farming within 6 miles. We are very fortunate to have organic farmers around us that do not use pesticides or herbicides. Our bees are not moved around the country, they have a permanent home. Our honey is extracted from the hive using natural methods that preserve as much of the natural health benefits and flavor as possible. We use organic methods for treating hives and improving bee health. We do not use plastic frames or wax foundation from China.
Our honey has not been pasteurized or heated, and unprocessed retaining all of it's natural health benefits and flavor, including grains of pollen and propolis. Unprocessed honey contains all nutrients as pollen, enzymes, minerals, and vitamins. preserves the distinctive flavors, nutrients, important enzymes, antioxidants, trace minerals and pollen grains naturally found in honey.
If you have never tried honey straight from the beekeeper, you will not be disappointed with this honey. Also makes great gifts or use it in many delicious recipes!
One spoon in the morning and one spoon at night is enough to keep you energized throughout the day and to provide the long term health benefits of eating raw honey.
Give it to a special someone as a perfect gift, spread it on your English Muffin, oatmeal, pancakes, or drizzle on vanilla ice cream. Its golden color, exquisite taste, incredible clarity, and has a slow rate of crystallization. Raw Honey never goes bad as long as it is in a closed container. Honey will crystallize in time. This is completely normal and it is what natural, raw honey should do.
Simply heat jar slowly in a warm water bath or place in the warm sun to liquefy until clear and golden again. Do not heat over 100 degrees as the high heat will destroy healthy enzymes and pollen.
We only use glass jars with BPA free lids.
