DESCRIPTION: Three Salter's hanging trade spring balances-one with a round face, one designed for up to 60 lbs, one for up to 40 lbs.-each featuring a brass face marked with dial and Salter's name. Round dial was fashioned for Thomas Williams Butcher's Cutler at 14 West Smithfield in London; two other scales marked with instruction and Salter's logo.
