This is a designer William Ruser vintage 14K yellow and white gold ladies ring featuring, natural rubies and 3tcw diamonds. The diamonds are SI clarity and the color is HI.
In 1947, Ruser and his wife opened their eponymous boutique on Rodeo Drive. Throughout the 1950s and 60s, business boomed and Hollywood starlets proudly wore his figural pieces both on and off screen. In 1969, Ruser closed up shop, selling its location to Van Cleef & Arpels.
The ring is a size 6US and it weighs a total of 13.8g. The ring face is 33.7 x 15mm. From back to front, it is 26.5mm. The marquise diamond is 9 x 5 x 3mm ( 0.75ct). The flanking diamonds include a Transitional cut, 6.3 x 3.6mm (0.85ct) and an Old European cut, 5.6 x 4mm (0.80ct). The total estimated diamond carat weight is 3twc.The round rubies are each about 3.5mm diameter. The square cut rubies are each about 1.5mm.
