Circa 1900-1910
An unusual geometric ivory panel is flanked by barber poles and urns, forming the primary field that is suspended above a red subfield. Graceful array of flower branch clusters in faded blue, green, red, gold and brown throughout. Navy blue main border with an ivory meandering garrus-like vine and colorful Shah Abbas motifs.

A broad but ill defined band of wear streches across one end of the carpet at approximately half way between center and fringe resulting in obscured pattern and two coin sized holes. Additional random scattered wear as well includes several inches of broken selvedge at each side. Three inch tear at one end.
