Vintage Sterling Zuni Inlaid Woodpecker Cuff Bracelet, 7.5", 1960's-1970's. Unisex This has two sold bands and a twisted band down the center with the inlaid bezel-set mother-of-pearl woodpecker with jet, turquoise and red coral berries inlaid accents and carved wisp accent with black enameling in the wisps. The inlaid area is appx 18mm by 13mm. There are silver feathers, bed, and curved accents around the stone which is appx. 1" down the wrist and sightly over 3/4" across the wrist. The band is appx. 19mm to the sides of the bird setting and taper to a rounded back to the cuff at appx. 7mm before it rounds. Weight of the bracelet is appx. 13.76 gr. It is not marked or signed but does test as sterling. This is a Zuni style with the inlaid work and the woodpecker. Some light wear. Very good condition with typical oxidation that can be poished away. Age is estimated at 1960's-1970's. The cufff has an opening of appx. 2.75" across and 2" front-to-back. The 7.5" includes the open area in the back. The bracelet does have some movement for sliding on the wrist but as always, care s hould be taken as metal can fracture if moved at too tight of an angle or when bending back and forth repeatedly.
