19th century, historical litho on linen of The Great Exhibition of 1851, depicting Queen Victoria and her husband Albert on top and bottom and an exterior view of Crystal Palace in Center and is encircled with flags of various Nations and Territories. This was considered to be the first Exposition ever. The exhibition was housed in the Crystal Palace, this was a greenhouse like building of glass and iron, was destroyed by fire in 1936. Does have two punctures on bottom Albert and just outside of the circle and minor fraying along top Edge, also has a repaired seam 3/4 of the way down right side approximately 4 in from Edge down to bottom and then an area at bottom next to seam that has been repaired, some discoloration spots but overall is in Nice condition with great graphics!! Comes out of the former Dan Hardesty Museum. 36 in x 34 in framed.
