A VICTORIAN SILVER SPIRIT FLASK
by George William Adams, London 1876, shaped for the pocket, with twist hinged cap, presentation inscription to the front, engraved with a crest and motto to the back, the lower half a detachable cup, gilded to interior, engraved 'RAIT / GLASGOW' to base of cup. 14.2cm high, 8.2 troy ounces
Marks lightly rubbed but legible. Cup a very snug fit to base. Stands upright, slight rocking to base. Presentation inscription reads 'William D McJannet / Solicitor / Irvine'. Minor dings, small marks and light surface scratches commensurate with age and use.
