Description
An E. Goyard Ainé dating from the 1920's, designed on four functioning wheels with a hinge opening, crafted from monogram patterned brown leather and wood with brass hardware. Interior is lined with original cotton padded lining, with maker's mark reading "1792 E. Goyard Ainé 233 Rue Sainte Honoré Paris Monte-Carlo Biarritz". 233 Rue Sainte Honoré is the historic address of Goyard, and still stands as their flagship location. On the side of the trunk, a fragment of the original owner's travel paperwork can be seen.
