Song of the South Limited Edition 2-Cel Suite of 350 (Walt Disney, 1946/86). To celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the release of Song of the South, Walt Disney released a special hand-painted limited edition two-cel suite. One showcases Br'er Rabbit with the Tar Baby, while the second features a Br'er Fox, Bear, and Rabbit. The 16 field cels were created by using original archived studio animation drawings and were hand-painted at the studio by the Disney Ink and Paint Department. The edition has been sold out for over 30 years, and the set rarely comes up for sale. There is some paint bleeding around the lamination. Edition #279/350 Size: 12" x 16" (each)
