EARLY PERIOD BEBE BY GAULTHIER WITH BLOCK LETTER MARKINGS. 18”. Marks: F. 7 G. (block letters). Bisque socket head with pale complexion, very full cheeks, large blue paperweight inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, closed mouth with shaded accented lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, antique silk and lace frock, straw bonnet, antique black leather shoes marked “Rabery Paris”.

Commentary: Deeply sculpted features enhanced by gorgeous large eyes, lovely bisque, good body with original finish, repair to left upper thigh, antique costume.
