Super rare Mead Ranger bicycle, made in Chicago. It was made in the early to mid 1920's era. Original paint and beautiful graphics are all intact. Original parts including headlight, power wires, and horn. Original metal clad wood rims are good for their age. It pedals fine and the rear hub works well and stops good. The tank is a "Tool Box Tank" with a door that opens and a clasp that securely holds it closed, which works well. CONDITION: The original Mead saddle is stamped "MEAD Aristocrat CHICAGO." Brown leather is aged but holding together very well. Seat frame springs and rails are straight. Original fenders are real nice, and have brown pin striping. Original glass rear reflector. Listed in a 1922 catalog as a "Superbe." This is not a standard shippable item and will require 3rd party shipping or pickup arrangements to be made. Condition: (Good).
