Description

Rare PVF, Polytype-Zither, 6-tune cylinder music box made by Paillard, Vaucher, Fils “PVF”) of Ste. Croix, Switzerland, bearing serial #91876 (1896-1897). A very scarce technical musical variant, which was essentially meant to provide its owner with 3 different musical formats in a single music box instead of normally requiring three separate music boxes for the same effects. CONDITION: This example plays two tune arrangements for each effect, in “Sublime Harmonie,” “Piccolo Zither” and “Tremolo Zither” musical formats. Fabulous, untouched original condition, no damages or repairs. Includes original winding handle. Condition: (Very Good). Dimensions: 28" x 13" x 8 - 1/4".
