Omega: a military wristwatch RAF pilot issue, issued 1956, stainless steel case, signed Omega manual wind movement with OMEGA SWISS 15 JEWELS and numbered 9972977 dating it to 1939, signed round black dial, Arabic numerals in white, chapter ring in white with lume plots to the outside, lume leaf hands, centre seconds hand, the caseback with A.M, 6B/159, 3568/56, no strap, no box and papers. Note: in the 1950s, the MOD issued these 6B/159 watches that housed movements that had been manufactured in WWII. Originally surplus to requirements, these movements were generally Omega 30T2 SC examples that were placed in newly-manufactured steel cases, with new dials (Case: 36mm excluding crown)
