Two (2). American. 1850s. Lard Press Lamp: Ira Smith and Stonesifer, Boonesboro, Maryland. 1850s. Drummond Mold: John Drummond, New York. Tin. Patent is for an adjustable leather packing on the screw activated piston which forces the lard from the main reservoir up to the wick tube. Drummond Mold: Cylinder form with strap handle and saucer base. Lard Press Lamp: Patent August 4, 1854 #11497. Drummond Mold: Patented February 20, 1846, #4389.
