Description

Stunning and rare miniature travel-carriage clock, made in Geneva Switzerland by the ValmÃ© Swiss Co. and the Concord Watch Co. This little antique clock is exceptional, created during the Edwardian and the art nouveau periods, back in the 1908-1910. Crafted with gorgeous details in solid sterling silver .935/.999 and mount on a four-round footed base. The three sides panels and the top, are embellished with applications of blue/gray enamel over a radiant GuillochÃ© surface. It is fitted on top with a movable handle and a at the reverse with a hinged door. The dial is round, made of white porcelain with gilded borders and navy blue Arabic numerals with black iron hands, signed Swiss.Weight: 79.85 Grams, (51.18 Dwt).Measurements: 28 mm by 20 mm by 55 mm (1.10 x 0.79 x 2.16 Inches).Hallmarks: The case is stamped with Swiss marks, the maker's mark, the inventory numbers 1354 and signed, "VALME SWISS ARGENT 5838 BREVET + DEPOSE 5880 1354"Movement: Stamped and signed by the maker, "CONCORD WATCH CO. SWISS 15 JEWELS FIFTEEN 2 ADJUSTMENTS TWO REF:141313".
